FLSA Status: Non Exempt

 

Start Date: 10/01/2024; Permanent Full Time with Full Benefits

12 months, 8 hours per day 

 

Position Summary: 

  • Provides support in desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Assists with the support of e-mail, calendars, software upgrades, endpoint security and inventory.
  • Installs and configures workstations, network and local printers, scanners, and other peripheral
  • devices attached to the PC and LAN.
  • Assists in the support of minor network and wireless issues.
  • Performs other technical duties as assigned. 

Qualification and Special Requirements: 

  • A minimum of a high school diploma, and one year of technology related work experience is required.
  • A two year degree in a technology related field with one year experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel independently and frequently as required for the position. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Possesses skills to identify and resolve user’s problems.
  • Possesses skills to install and support upgrades as they relate to desktop/laptop hardware, operating systems, and peripherals.
  • Has knowledge of end user hardware and network infrastructure.
  • Has knowledge of endpoint security technology and inventory control methods.
  • Has experience working with email and calendar services.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Has the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships during daily activities.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

Due to the nature of technical hardware work, the ability to move and lift equipment is desirable. May be asked to carry a phone for work related communication.
